I try to get my facts straight, but I’m a guy with a website, not the final authority on anything. Sometimes I write about fitness, food, money, or other things people make real decisions about. I’m sharing what I think and what I’ve experienced. Please talk to someone qualified before making an important decision based on something you read here. Especially if that something is about your health.
If I get something wrong, tell me. I’d rather fix it than remain confidently wrong in public.

You can read the site without giving me your name.
If you leave a comment, the site saves what you write and the details you enter in the comment form. It also collects technical details, including your IP address and browser information, to help catch spam. Your approved comment will be visible to other readers. If Gravatar is enabled, it may show a profile picture beside your comment.
If you sign up for emails, I use the name and email address you give me to send them through MailerLite. Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can leave whenever you want; I will try not to take it personally.
Like most websites, this one and its hosting provider may collect technical information about visits. If I use analytics, that can include which pages people view and an approximate location. The site may also use cookies for comments and other features. Videos or other content embedded from another site may let that site collect information too.
I don’t sell a list of readers. The services that help me run the site—such as hosting, email delivery, spam protection, and analytics—may handle the information needed to do their jobs.
Comments may stay up for as long as the site is around. I keep email subscribers’ information until they unsubscribe or ask me to remove it. Other records are kept as needed to run and protect the site or meet legal obligations.
Want to know what personal information I have about you, get a copy, or ask me to delete it? Email me. There may be some records I need to keep for administrative, security, or legal reasons.
The site uses HTTPS to protect information sent between your browser and the site. I take reasonable care with the information you give me, though no website can promise perfect security.

I wrote the original articles here unless I say otherwise. Share a link all you like. A short excerpt with credit is fine too. Please ask before reposting a whole article or using my writing commercially.
Photos, videos, quotes, and other things made by someone else still belong to whoever made them.
