Small Click. Great Idea.

We spend a lot of time figuring out how to live longer.

Exercise. Better food. More sleep. Some supplement advertised by a man who lives in the woods and cold plunges daily.

Meanwhile, there’s a seat belt sitting right next to us.

It comes with the vehicle. Requires no subscription. And wearing it reduces the risk of serious injury or death in a crash. That’s a pretty good return on the effort involved.

You can be careful behind the wheel and still have no control over what somebody else does. The routine trip to the grocery store involves sharing a road with people whose judgment you haven’t personally reviewed.

So buckle up. Make it automatic. Check that the people riding with you are properly secured, too.

There are a lot of things I’d still like to do. Places to visit. People to spend time with. Restaurants to spend way too much money at.

I’d like to keep showing up for all of that.

When something this simple can help keep you around, make it a habit.
